Dr. Maria Chairez

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. As your new principal my goal is to make sure all students receive the highest quality educational program possible.  I will work with our staff members to create a positive school climate where students learn and feel safe. I want our students to be excited about coming to school every day so that by the time they leave our school; they will be successful in high school and beyond. Dear Parents:

I know I can’t do this important job alone, so let’s work together to build a strong partnership between your home and our school.  I believe that a quality educational program can make a huge difference in a child’s life. I was born in Sacramento and attended college here because someone believed in me and gave me a chance to shine.  I hope to shine the light on our students by expecting the best from them and by providing support and encouragement.

Let’s work together to help each student find their passion. I welcome you to our Back to School event, August 30, 2018, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.  Kindergarten parents please come to a special meeting August 23, 2018, from 5-6 pm where I can share ways you can help your child in school.

Don’t forget that you are welcome to be a parent volunteer too! Our students can greatly benefit from your volunteer involvement. Please join us this school year so that together we can build the best school program that will leave a lasting impact on your child’s future.

The entire school staff is excited to support our school and we look forward to the new school year.
